The Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program faculty provides program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in the discipline. This is a 12-month Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, non-tenure track 0.5 FTE position. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The academic role is within the School of Nursing in the Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences. This individual will report directly to the Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program with indirect reporting to the Executive Director of the School of Nursing and the Dean of the Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
The Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program Part Time (0.5 FTE) faculty division of responsibilities: 70% to teaching, counseling, and evaluating students, including advising on doctoral-level scholarly activities; 20% to clinical competency; 5% to faculty scholarly activities; and 5% to service. This faculty will teach an average of 4 credit hours per semester or 12 credit hours per calendar year.
